Some of the most meaningful traditions begin in the simplest places — often in a warm kitchen, surrounded by the comforting aroma of something baking. My mom, Rose, always had a love for baking. During the COVID lockdowns, like many people, I found myself spending more time at home and rediscovering the quiet joy of baking. I asked my mom for her cherished rusk recipe and began baking small batches for my own household. Before long, I started sharing them with friends and neighbours. What began as a simple gesture soon turned into something unexpected. Through word of mouth, the demand grew, and the small batches I once baked for family quickly became something much bigger. What started with just two flavours has grown into a collection of eight carefully crafted varieties, each baked with the same attention to quality, flavour, and tradition that inspired the very first batch. Five years later, our rusks are still made with the finest ingredients and the same love and care that started it all — transforming a humble family recipe into something truly special.
